Sullivan 180 Healthier Generation Competition Grant

Competition Grants are meant to boost schools to a higher level of health and wellness and encourage the creation of a campaign to promote specific goals of the school district’s wellness policy to the school community. Offered every other year.

Focus areas include: Nutrition; Connection to Nature; Mental Health/Social Emotional Wellness; Physical Activity.

Grant Details:

  • Award: Up to $10,000

  • Deadline: November 30, 2025

  • Completion: May 31, 2027

  • Awards: 1st Prize of $75,000; 2nd Prize of $50,000; $500 Turtle Awards.

  • Eligible: Sullivan County Public Schools with an assigned Healthier Generation Advisor & Wellness Coordinator. Prior successful completion of a School Grant and an established Healthier Generation Committee is required.
