Sullivan 180 Healthier Generation School Grant

School grants bring awareness to the District’s Wellness Policy within a particular school building. Applicants are encouraged to create/enhance their school’s Healthier Generation Committees throughout the grant process. Offered every other year.

Focus areas include: Nutrition; Connection to Nature; Mental Health/Social Emotional Wellness; Physical Activity.

In addition to the grants, schools receive technical assistance and coaching/mentoring for the successful completion of grant projects and the promotion of the existing wellness policy.

Grant Details:

  • Award: Up to $4,000

  • Deadline: November 30, 2025

  • Completion: May 31, 2027

  • Awards: $500 Turtle Awards

  • Eligible: Sullivan County Public Schools with an assigned Healthier Generation Advisor & Wellness Coordinator.
